Three plans, one build fee

Roofing company websites from $127 a month, live in 7 days

Three plans for roofing companies from $127 a month plus a $697 one-time build fee, with weekly updates, researched articles and managed hosting.

Infographic with Thane the mascot. What every plan includes: 90+ PageSpeed; Instant quote request tool; Managed hosting; A domain you own; Weekly detail updates; Revisions and a client portal.
What the plan replaces

Five specific problems every plan is built to fix

Speed

Built to a 90+ PageSpeed spec, not a best effort

  • Custom-coded pages, almost no client-side JavaScript to slow the first paint
  • Served from a global edge network rather than a single origin server
  • Images compressed and served in modern formats automatically
Ranking

Structure first, because that is what search rewards

  • A dedicated page for every service, crossed with every town you serve
  • Weekly researched articles that cite a real source, never an invented statistic
  • Clean URLs, a correct sitemap and structured data on every page from day one

Before the numbers, from roofing companies we have built for

  • Conrad Fairchild

Estimator, office block roof maintenance company

The 'did you receive it?' calls about commercial roof assessments were a daily occurrence here. Submitters now see exactly what we will do with their request and when to expect us. A modest change with an outsized effect on our mornings.

    Columbia, South Carolina

Submission acknowledgment and follow-up for commercial roof assessments

  • Andrea Copperfield

Survey bookings administrator, warehouse roofing and cladding contractor

Getting the commercial roof assessments wording right mattered more to us than any visual choice. It explains what an inquiry achieves and is honest about what still needs a proper discussion. Customers arrive with realistic expectations, which changes the whole tone of the first call.

    Manchester, New Hampshire

Service scope and expectations for commercial roof assessments

  • Faris Hourani

Tendering assistant, commercial guttering and drainage firm

Our old commercial roof assessments routine was a shared inbox and crossed fingers. Every inquiry arrives with an owner, a status, and the context attached. It removed a daily friction we had simply learned to live with.

    Fargo, North Dakota

Inquiry assignment and staff handover for commercial roof assessments

The three plans

Pick the tier that matches how enquiries reach you today

Every plan carries the same site, tool and hosting baseline below. Elevation adds the AI Engine; Structural adds the Content Engine on top of that.

Elevation and Structural usage on the AI Engine is billed monthly in arrears at what our providers charge us, with no markup.

Included on every plan

The baseline every tier starts from

  • A full custom-coded site: home, services, locations, about, contact
  • The instant quote request tool, wired to your CRM
  • One free domain, or we point the one you already own
  • Cloudflare hosting with SSL, CDN and DDoS protection
  • Weekly detail updates on top of your revision allowance
  • Researched articles published on a set schedule
Articles

What the weekly articles actually cover

Every article is sourced and reviewed before it publishes, never an invented figure dressed up as fact.

Revisions

How the revision allowance actually works

  • Any change request counts as one revision, however large: a new page, five new pages, a colour change
  • 5 are included every month, then a flat $20 each with no cap
  • Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days, tracked in your client portal
Weekly updates

What happens without you asking

  • A stale seasonal banner or promotion swapped out
  • A finished job added to your project gallery
  • A broken outbound link found and fixed
  • A small factual correction caught before you ask

What the monthly fee buys

Every feature in the fee, the problem it fixes, and the plan that carries it

This is the whole package rather than a highlight reel, and it is the same list whichever plan you take, minus the two engines. Nothing below is an add-on with its own invoice.

  • Pages that open instantly

Custom-coded pages served from the edge, 90+ PageSpeed on every page we ship.

    The problem it fixes
A homeowner standing in a driveway after a storm, on one bar of signal, gives a slow page about two seconds before going back to the results and tapping the next roofer.
    What you have to do
Nothing. Speed is a build decision we make before anything is designed, and we hold it after launch.

    Structural Included
  • Instant quote request tool

A short form that asks only what a roofer needs to size the job, and drops straight into your CRM.

    The problem it fixes
Enquiries arrive as a single line asking someone to come look at a roof, with no address, no roof type and no idea whether it is a repair or a full tear-off, so every one costs a phone call before it can be sized.
    What you have to do
Tell us at onboarding which questions actually help you size a job. We build the form around those and test it with a real submission.

  • One page per roofing service

Re-roofing, repair, inspection, storm restoration and metal roofing each get a dedicated page.

    The problem it fixes
Re-roofing, repair, inspection and storm work are one paragraph on one page, so none of them ranks and a homeowner searching for the exact job you want cannot find it.
    What you have to do
List the services you genuinely offer at onboarding, then review each page before it publishes.

    Draft Included
    Elevation Included

  • One page per town or county served

A page for every place you work, crossed with the services you sell there.

    The problem it fixes
You cover eleven towns and the site names one of them, in the footer, so a search for a roofer nearby hands the call to a directory that resells your own lead back to you.
    What you have to do
Send us the towns and counties you run crews in, plus anything locally specific worth saying about each.

    Elevation Included
    Structural Included
  • Enquiries routed into your CRM

Every form, call and chat lead lands where your team already works, by API, Zapier or Make.

    The problem it fixes
A lead lands in a shared inbox on Friday evening and gets read on Monday, by which time the homeowner has already signed with whoever called back first.
    What you have to do
Tell us which CRM you use. We connect it and test it with a real submission before launch.

  • Weekly detail updates

Small factual updates every week, priced hours, seasonal notes, a finished job added, without waiting on a revision request.

    The problem it fixes
Nobody at a roofing company has checking the website on their list, so a seasonal banner from last winter and a dead link sit there for a year.
    What you have to do
Nothing. The weekly pass happens whether or not you ask, and it does not touch your revision allowance.

    On which plan

    Draft Included

  • Researched articles every week

Sourced articles on roofing materials, storm timing and maintenance, published to your blog on a schedule.

    The problem it fixes
Homeowners research a roof for weeks before they call anyone, and a site with nothing to read gives a search engine no reason to come back and no reason to rank you between storms.
    What you have to do
Nothing, unless you want a specific topic. Raise it in the portal and it goes into the next week schedule.

    On which plan

    Draft Included
    Elevation Included

  • Managed hosting, nothing itemised

Cloudflare hosting with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth, inside the monthly fee.

    The problem it fixes
Hosting, SSL, a security plugin and a content network each arrive as their own invoice and their own renewal notice, and the one you miss is the one that takes the site down.
    What you have to do
Nothing. You never see a hosting panel, a renewal email or a bandwidth overage.

  • The AI Engine

An AI receptionist, site chat and SMS agent that answers questions and books the job, without giving roofing advice.

    The problem it fixes
Half the calls come in while the crew is on a roof and cannot answer, and a missed call from a homeowner with an active leak is a job that goes to someone else.
    What you have to do
Review the scripts before launch and tell us what the agent must never say. After that it runs, and anything it cannot handle reaches your team with a summary.

  • The Content Engine

Three articles, three social image posts and two reels a week, plus a managed Google Business Profile.

    The problem it fixes
Posting to social, filming a reel and keeping the Google listing current is a full job nobody at a roofing company has time for, so it stops after the second week.
    What you have to do
Send job photos when you have them. Everything else is produced, scheduled and published for you.

  • A domain you own, included

One domain registered in your name for as long as the plan runs, or we point the one you already have.

    The problem it fixes
The domain is registered to a web designer who has stopped replying, or to an agency that treats it as leverage, so the one asset carrying every review, business card and truck wrap is not actually yours.
    What you have to do
Tell us the name you want, or hand us the one you already own. Nothing about your email changes unless you ask.

  • Migration that keeps your old links working

Every existing URL mapped to its new page, with redirects in place before launch.

    The problem it fixes
Switching sites usually means every link a homeowner saved, every link a supplier posted and every page a search engine indexed turns into an error on launch day, and the rankings you spent years earning go with it.
    What you have to do
Nothing beyond giving us access to the current site. We pull the URL list ourselves and show you the mapping before we launch.

  • Revisions and a client portal

Five revisions a month of any size, requested in a portal, completed in 2 to 5 working days.

    The problem it fixes
A change to the website means emailing a developer, waiting, chasing, and eventually giving up, so the site quietly stops reflecting what the business actually does.
    What you have to do
Describe the change in the portal and attach anything we need. There is no size limit on a single request and no hourly billing anywhere.

What is guaranteed, and what is not

Four promises with the conditions printed, and three things we will not promise

Both halves are on the same page on purpose. A guarantee is only worth reading when the limits sit next to it.

What we commit to

  • 90+ PageSpeed, or we fix it free

Every page we build and host carries a 90+ Google PageSpeed score on mobile and desktop. If a page we control falls under it, we bring it back at no charge. This is a term, not a claim.

  • The $697 build fee is invoiced after launch

It is charged once the site is live and you have approved it. You never pay for a build you have not seen, which puts the risk of finishing it on us rather than on you.

  • Revisions done in 2 to 5 working days

5 a month are included, of any size, with no hourly billing. After the fifth, each extra is a flat $20 with no cap. Every one is completed within the stated turnaround whatever its size.

  • The domain leaves with you

One domain is included and registered in your name. If you cancel, you tell us where to send it and we transfer it at no charge. Nothing about this arrangement relies on you being stuck.

What we will not claim

  • We do not guarantee a ranking

Nobody can. What we commit to is the build, the structure, the pages and the publishing schedule that give rankings a chance, and the honest window we quote for local pages to start working is 3 to 5 months.

  • There are no refunds

All sales are final, including monthly fees, the build fee and extra revisions. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it. The build fee is charged only after you approve the site, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterwards.

  • Cancellation needs notice in writing

Email us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours. With valid notice no further invoice is raised and the site runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We would rather you read that here than discover it in month four.

Infographic with Thane the mascot holding a check shield. What we commit to: 90+ PageSpeed, or fixed free; Build fee invoiced after launch; 5 revisions a month included; The domain leaves with you.
The obvious question

Is there a cheaper way to do this?

Yes, several, and pretending otherwise would insult you. A builder subscription costs less than this, and so does nothing. What differs is who does the work and who is accountable for it. Each page below makes the case for the other option first.

If your current site is fast, covers the towns you work in and somebody is maintaining it, keep it and spend this money somewhere that is actually costing you jobs. All ten comparisons.

Before you ask

Three things people usually want cleared up first

Why is there a build fee at all?

The build fee covers the actual work of drawing and building your site. It is invoiced only after your site is live and you have approved it, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterward: the work is already done and accepted.

What if I need more than five revisions in a month?

Buy more. Extra revisions are $20 each with no cap, so a busier month never blocks a change, it just costs a predictable, flat amount.

What happens to my current domain and email?

We point your existing domain at the new site and your email stays exactly where it is. Nothing changes for people who already know your address.

All pricing questions

What exactly do I get for the monthly fee?

A fully managed, custom-coded website for your roofing company: a homepage, a page for every service you offer, a page for every town you serve, the instant quote request tool, managed Cloudflare hosting, weekly detail updates, and researched articles published on a schedule. Nothing is itemised separately. The three plans are Draft, Elevation, Structural, each adding capability on top of the last.

How long until my site is live?

7 days on Draft, 10 on Elevation while the AI agents are trained on your business, and 15 on Structural with the content engine set up alongside it. The clock starts at your onboarding call, not at purchase, so the sooner the onboarding form is in, the sooner the build starts.

Do you do the actual roofing work?

No. We are a website design and management company. We are not a roofing contractor, a licensed builder or an insurance adjuster, and nothing on your site is professional roofing or insurance advice. Every claim about materials, warranties or timelines is written from what you tell us and reviewed before it publishes.

Which plan should a roofing company actually start with?

Draft covers a full site with service and location pages, the quote tool and managed hosting, and suits a company that answers its own calls and chat. Elevation adds the AI Engine, worth it once missed calls and after-hours enquiries are a real cost. Structural adds the weekly content volume of the Content Engine, which suits a company actively trying to out-rank several local competitors.

What happens straight after I buy?

You fill in the onboarding form and submit it. It asks for your services, the towns you serve, your brand, your domain and where enquiries should land, and it takes about 15 minutes. If something is missing, submit anyway: you can send the rest by email or raise it as a ticket in your client portal, and it will not hold up the build. We then run one onboarding call to fill any gaps and agree the launch date.

What is the client portal?

It is your account with us, and you get it the day your site goes live. From the portal you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files you still owe us, and message our team directly. Everything to do with your site runs through it, so nothing gets lost in an inbox. You never log in to the website itself; we handle that side.

I do not have professional photos of finished jobs yet. Does that hold up the build?

No. Tell us during onboarding and we start with stock photography suited to roofing while your own photos come in, then swap them in as a revision at no extra charge once you have them. A site does not wait on a photographer's schedule to launch.

What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?

A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. A new location page, an updated service, a different photo, a colour change: each is one revision. So is something much larger, like "add three new service pages and here is the copy for each one." 5 are included every month. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days, whatever the size.

How do I actually request a change?

Raise it in your client portal. You describe the change, attach anything we need, and it lands with the team as a tracked request so you can see where it is. You can also email us or reply to any thread with our team, and we log it for you. Unused revisions do not roll over to the next month.

Can I add a new town or service after launch?

Yes, and it is exactly what the revision allowance is for. Send us the town or service and any detail specific to it, and we build the page as one revision, live within 2 to 5 working days.

What do the weekly articles actually cover?

Sourced articles written for homeowners and property managers researching a roofing decision: how long a roof type lasts, what to expect from an insurance claim, how to read a written estimate. Every factual claim cites a real source and our editorial lead reviews each piece before publishing. 2 articles a week ship on Draft and Elevation, 3 a week on Structural.

Can I request a specific article topic?

Yes. Raise it in your client portal and it goes into the next week's schedule. We still fact-check and source it the same way as any other article, so a topic that depends on a specific unverifiable claim about your business gets written around that rather than stating it as fact.

What does the AI Engine actually do?

On Elevation and Structural, an AI receptionist answers calls, site chat and SMS, describes your services and general pricing structure, takes the caller's details, and books an appointment or hands them to your team. It never estimates a job, diagnoses roof damage or gives advice, and you review its scripts before your site launches.

Does the AI Engine cost extra?

The plan fee for Elevation and Structural already includes the AI receptionist and chat setup. Usage, the actual volume of calls, messages and minutes, is billed monthly in arrears at what our providers charge us, with no markup, so a quiet month costs less than a busy storm-season month.

Do I need to register anything to send text messages?

Yes, carriers require A2P 10DLC registration before a business can send SMS at volume, and we file it on your behalf as part of setting up the AI Engine. Any carrier fee is passed through at cost.

What does the 90+ PageSpeed guarantee actually mean?

Every page we build and host carries a 90+ Google PageSpeed score on mobile and desktop. If a page we control falls under it, we bring it back at no charge. It is written into the terms rather than left as a marketing line, which is the only reason a performance promise is worth anything.

Does a faster website lower my Google Ads cost per click?

It can help, and we will only put it that way. Google Ads describes ad quality as an estimate of the experience someone has when they see your ad and once they reach your landing page, lists landing page experience among the factors in Ad Rank, and states in its own help centre that higher quality ads typically cost less per click than lower quality ones. What nobody can honestly promise is a specific percentage, because your keywords, competition and market decide the rest. Be careful of anyone who quotes you a number, and be especially careful of anyone who says a high Quality Score buys cheaper clicks: Google states plainly that Quality Score is a diagnostic tool and not an input in the ad auction.

Why does speed matter so much for roofing specifically?

Because of where the search happens. A homeowner looking up a roofer is usually standing outside on a phone, often after a storm, often on a weak signal, and often in a hurry. A page that takes several seconds to paint loses that visitor to the next result. Roofing traffic is also spiky: a hail event can multiply local searches for a few days, and a site that is slow when it is quiet is unusable when it is busy.

What about Core Web Vitals?

Google publishes three targets: a Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, an Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less and a Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less, measured at the 75th percentile of page loads. Google also states that Core Web Vitals are used by its ranking systems, while being clear that good scores alone do not guarantee a ranking. We build to those targets because they describe a page that is genuinely pleasant to use, not because they are a trick.

How do you make the pages fast?

Custom code with almost no client-side JavaScript, images compressed and served in modern formats at the right size, fonts loaded without blocking the first paint, and the whole thing served from a global edge network rather than one origin server. There is no caching plugin to configure, because there is nothing slow to cache around.

How long before the site ranks?

The window we quote for local pages to start working is 3 to 5 months, and we say it up front rather than after you have signed. Nobody can guarantee a ranking, and anyone who does is selling something. What we commit to is the build, the structure, the service and location pages and the publishing schedule that give rankings a genuine chance.

What is AEO, and why does it matter to a roofing company?

Answer engine optimisation is writing so a search engine can lift your answer directly onto the results page. Practically it means every heading is a question a homeowner actually asks and the first sentence under it answers that question outright, plus visible FAQ blocks marked up so they can be read as questions and answers. For roofing it matters because most of the searches before a call are questions: how long a roof lasts, what hail damage looks like, what an adjuster checks.

What is GEO, and do AI assistants actually send anyone?

Generative engine optimisation is making your business easy for an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or a Google AI overview to understand, quote and attribute. We publish a plain-text llms.txt and llms-full.txt describing the business, keep your name, services and contact details identical everywhere, and state facts plainly enough to be quoted. Nobody can guarantee an assistant will name you, and we would not claim otherwise. What we can do is stop your site being the one that is too vague to cite.

Do you add schema markup?

Yes, generated on every page rather than pasted in by hand: Organization and LocalBusiness details, Service markup on service pages, BreadcrumbList below the top level and FAQPage wherever questions are answered. Review markup is only ever generated from real, verified reviews, never from anything illustrative, on your site or on ours.

Will you build a page for every town, even ones we barely cover?

No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who offers to. A page for a town you do not genuinely serve is thin content, and enough of them drags the whole domain down rather than just those pages. We build a page for each place you actually send crews, with something genuinely local on it.

Do you block AI crawlers?

No, and we would advise against it on your site. Blocking them is the fastest way to be left out of AI answers entirely, which is the opposite of what a roofing company wants. If you would rather block them, tell us and we will, but we will make sure you know what you are giving up first.

Which legal pages come with my site?

A privacy policy, terms of service, a cookie policy with a consent banner that genuinely gates scripts rather than just decorating the corner, and an accessibility statement. Where a form can trigger a text message, it carries express written consent wording. All of them are written in your business name for a US roofing company rather than pasted from a generator. They help you meet what is expected of a business website. They are not legal advice, and we would still recommend your attorney reads them.

Is the site accessible?

It is built with WCAG 2.1 level AA in mind: keyboard operation, visible focus, contrast checked as pairs rather than guessed, real alt text, headings in order, and motion that honours a reduced-motion setting. We say "built with in mind" deliberately, because we are a website studio and not an accessibility auditor, and we do not certify legal compliance. Where accessibility is a contractual requirement for you, we recommend an independent audit and will work to its findings.

What disclaimers do roofing sites need?

At minimum, that an online quote request is not a binding estimate, and that published material lifespans, warranty information and claims timelines are general information rather than a warranty or insurance advice. We write those in plain words on the pages that need them. We will not publish a warranty term, a certification or a material claim you have not confirmed, even if you ask us to.

Do you handle text message consent properly?

Yes. Forms that can trigger a text carry express written consent wording written with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act in mind, and we file the A2P 10DLC carrier registration on your behalf before any messaging goes live. Any carrier fee is passed through at cost. Nothing here is legal advice, and how you use the list afterwards is your responsibility.

Does the cookie banner actually block anything?

Yes. Analytics and marketing scripts do not fire before consent. A banner that blocks nothing while claiming to is worse than having none at all, because it tells a visitor something untrue about what is happening.

Should I just use a website builder instead?

If you cover one or two towns and somebody at your company will genuinely keep the site current, a builder is good value and we will tell you so on a call. It stops being the right answer when the business needs a page for each service crossed with each town, plus something published every week, and nobody has the hours. We wrote a page on each of the main alternatives, with the case for the other side first.

How is this different from hiring a freelancer?

A freelancer builds the site once, often very well. The risk is not the build, it is month seven: who answers when a page breaks, who adds the new town, and what happens when that one person takes a salaried job. A plan is mostly a way of buying an answer to that question, and it is worth exactly as much as that question worries you.

Do I still need a marketing agency?

If you are spending meaningfully on ads, yes, and we work alongside agencies happily. We build and run the site those ads land on; we do not manage ad spend and we are direct about that. What we would say is to get the site right first, because paying for clicks that land on a weak page is the most expensive mistake in this market.

I already pay for GoHighLevel. Am I paying twice?

No. They are two different things: a CRM and automation platform, and a website plus the people who run it. Your GoHighLevel account stays exactly as it is, and every enquiry from the site routes into your existing pipeline. Plenty of our clients run both, and the owner of this studio sells GoHighLevel services too.

My current site is fine. Should I switch?

Probably not. If it is fast, has a page for every service and every town you cover, publishes something regularly and somebody is maintaining it, leave it alone and spend the money on something that is actually broken. That advice costs us work and it is still the right advice.

Is hosting an extra cost?

No. Hosting is included in the monthly fee and never billed separately. Your site runs on Cloudflare's global network with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth included. There is no hosting invoice, no SSL renewal, no bandwidth overage and no surprise line item in month four.

Who manages the site day to day?

We do. You never log in to a website admin panel. If something needs fixing or updating, you raise it in your client portal and our team handles it, which is what "fully managed" means on this plan rather than a phrase on a pricing page.

Do I have to pay for a domain?

No. One domain is included free for as long as your plan is active, registered in your name through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship, so you own it outright. If you already have a domain we point it at the new site instead and nothing changes for people who know your current address. If you ever leave, tell us where to send the domain and we transfer it at no charge.

Can I keep my current domain and email?

Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site during the build, and your email stays exactly where it is unless you ask us to change something, since domain and email are handled separately.

What happens to my old website's pages when I switch?

We map your existing URLs and set up redirects to the equivalent new page, so a link a homeowner saved or a search engine has indexed still resolves after launch instead of returning an error. This is part of every build, not an add-on.

Will switching hurt my Google ranking?

A properly redirected migration protects the ranking signals your current pages already have. We are not responsible for a ranking change caused by content decisions you make separately from the migration, but the migration itself is built to preserve what you already have.

What do I actually pay, and when?

You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $127, $267 plus AI usage, or $647 a month. The $697 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Domain and hosting are inside the monthly figure.

How do I cancel, and how much notice do you need?

Email us and say you want to cancel. Your message must reach us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours, which are 9:00 to 17:00 Central Time, Monday to Friday. A message sent outside those hours counts from the start of the next business day, so a weekend email does not give 2 business days of notice for an invoice due Monday or Tuesday. With valid notice, no further invoice is raised and your site runs to the end of the month you have paid for. With late notice, the next invoice is charged as normal and the cancellation takes effect at the end of that month.

Do you offer refunds?

No. All sales are final, and that includes monthly fees, the build fee, extra revisions and any cost we pass through at what our providers charge us. We do not refund for a change of mind or for a month you did not use. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days. The build fee is charged only after you have approved your site, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterwards.
