The offer
What exactly do I get for the monthly fee?
A fully managed, custom-coded website for your roofing company: a homepage, a page for every service you offer, a page for every town you serve, the instant quote request tool, managed Cloudflare hosting, weekly detail updates, and researched articles published on a schedule. Nothing is itemised separately. The three plans are Draft, Elevation, Structural, each adding capability on top of the last.
How long until my site is live?
7 days on Draft, 10 on Elevation while the AI agents are trained on your business, and 15 on Structural with the content engine set up alongside it. The clock starts at your onboarding call, not at purchase, so the sooner the onboarding form is in, the sooner the build starts.
Do you do the actual roofing work?
No. We are a website design and management company. We are not a roofing contractor, a licensed builder or an insurance adjuster, and nothing on your site is professional roofing or insurance advice. Every claim about materials, warranties or timelines is written from what you tell us and reviewed before it publishes.
Which plan should a roofing company actually start with?
Draft covers a full site with service and location pages, the quote tool and managed hosting, and suits a company that answers its own calls and chat. Elevation adds the AI Engine, worth it once missed calls and after-hours enquiries are a real cost. Structural adds the weekly content volume of the Content Engine, which suits a company actively trying to out-rank several local competitors.
Getting started
What happens straight after I buy?
You fill in the onboarding form and submit it. It asks for your services, the towns you serve, your brand, your domain and where enquiries should land, and it takes about 15 minutes. If something is missing, submit anyway: you can send the rest by email or raise it as a ticket in your client portal, and it will not hold up the build. We then run one onboarding call to fill any gaps and agree the launch date.
What is the client portal?
It is your account with us, and you get it the day your site goes live. From the portal you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files you still owe us, and message our team directly. Everything to do with your site runs through it, so nothing gets lost in an inbox. You never log in to the website itself; we handle that side.
I do not have professional photos of finished jobs yet. Does that hold up the build?
No. Tell us during onboarding and we start with stock photography suited to roofing while your own photos come in, then swap them in as a revision at no extra charge once you have them. A site does not wait on a photographer's schedule to launch.
Revisions and the client portal
What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?
A revision is any change request you send, and there is no limit on how much goes into one. A new location page, an updated service, a different photo, a colour change: each is one revision. So is something much larger, like "add three new service pages and here is the copy for each one." 5 are included every month. After the fifth, each additional revision is a flat $20, with no cap on how many you can buy and no hourly billing anywhere. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days, whatever the size.
How do I actually request a change?
Raise it in your client portal. You describe the change, attach anything we need, and it lands with the team as a tracked request so you can see where it is. You can also email us or reply to any thread with our team, and we log it for you. Unused revisions do not roll over to the next month.
Can I add a new town or service after launch?
Yes, and it is exactly what the revision allowance is for. Send us the town or service and any detail specific to it, and we build the page as one revision, live within 2 to 5 working days.
Articles
What do the weekly articles actually cover?
Sourced articles written for homeowners and property managers researching a roofing decision: how long a roof type lasts, what to expect from an insurance claim, how to read a written estimate. Every factual claim cites a real source and our editorial lead reviews each piece before publishing. 2 articles a week ship on Draft and Elevation, 3 a week on Structural.
Can I request a specific article topic?
Yes. Raise it in your client portal and it goes into the next week's schedule. We still fact-check and source it the same way as any other article, so a topic that depends on a specific unverifiable claim about your business gets written around that rather than stating it as fact.
The AI Engine
What does the AI Engine actually do?
On Elevation and Structural, an AI receptionist answers calls, site chat and SMS, describes your services and general pricing structure, takes the caller's details, and books an appointment or hands them to your team. It never estimates a job, diagnoses roof damage or gives advice, and you review its scripts before your site launches.
Does the AI Engine cost extra?
The plan fee for Elevation and Structural already includes the AI receptionist and chat setup. Usage, the actual volume of calls, messages and minutes, is billed monthly in arrears at what our providers charge us, with no markup, so a quiet month costs less than a busy storm-season month.
Do I need to register anything to send text messages?
Yes, carriers require A2P 10DLC registration before a business can send SMS at volume, and we file it on your behalf as part of setting up the AI Engine. Any carrier fee is passed through at cost.
Hosting and management
Is hosting an extra cost?
No. Hosting is included in the monthly fee and never billed separately. Your site runs on Cloudflare's global network with SSL, CDN, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth included. There is no hosting invoice, no SSL renewal, no bandwidth overage and no surprise line item in month four.
Who manages the site day to day?
We do. You never log in to a website admin panel. If something needs fixing or updating, you raise it in your client portal and our team handles it, which is what "fully managed" means on this plan rather than a phrase on a pricing page.
Domains
Do I have to pay for a domain?
No. One domain is included free for as long as your plan is active, registered in your name through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship, so you own it outright. If you already have a domain we point it at the new site instead and nothing changes for people who know your current address. If you ever leave, tell us where to send the domain and we transfer it at no charge.
Can I keep my current domain and email?
Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site during the build, and your email stays exactly where it is unless you ask us to change something, since domain and email are handled separately.
Moving from your current site
What happens to my old website's pages when I switch?
We map your existing URLs and set up redirects to the equivalent new page, so a link a homeowner saved or a search engine has indexed still resolves after launch instead of returning an error. This is part of every build, not an add-on.
Will switching hurt my Google ranking?
A properly redirected migration protects the ranking signals your current pages already have. We are not responsible for a ranking change caused by content decisions you make separately from the migration, but the migration itself is built to preserve what you already have.
Billing and cancellation
What do I actually pay, and when?
You pay the monthly fee for the tier you choose up front: $127, $267 plus AI usage, or $647 a month. The $697 one-time build fee is invoiced only after your site is live and you are satisfied with it. Domain and hosting are inside the monthly figure.
How do I cancel, and how much notice do you need?
Email us and say you want to cancel. Your message must reach us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours, which are 9:00 to 17:00 Central Time, Monday to Friday. A message sent outside those hours counts from the start of the next business day, so a weekend email does not give 2 business days of notice for an invoice due Monday or Tuesday. With valid notice, no further invoice is raised and your site runs to the end of the month you have paid for. With late notice, the next invoice is charged as normal and the cancellation takes effect at the end of that month.
Do you offer refunds?
No. All sales are final, and that includes monthly fees, the build fee, extra revisions and any cost we pass through at what our providers charge us. We do not refund for a change of mind or for a month you did not use. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days. The build fee is charged only after you have approved your site, which is exactly why it is not refundable afterwards.
